Northwest Florida State College recognized 23 students Dec. 16 who successfully completed the college's technical certificate program for Emergency Medical Technician during the fall 2013 academic semester. 

Fall 2013 graduates include Wesley Brandt of Santa Rosa Beach; Jordan Doyle and Johnathan Thomas of DeFuniak Springs; Zachary Olimb of Destin; and David Walden of Miramar Beach.

Barry Reed, director of emergency services, noted that the NWFSC graduates are now eligible to take the Florida State and National Registry EMT exam.

The EMT program at NWFSC is a competitive admission, one-semester program which provides students extensive clinical experiences. The program accepts a limited number of applicants each semester.  For information contact the EMT department program at 729-4924 or visit www.nwfsc.edu/EMT.
