STEM students build robots, work in the Bay

When the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium’s Regional Advisory Committee met Oct. 8, Freeport High School students Jordan Sparks and Tyler Head made presentations.

Sparks presented information about his experiences while participating in the Summer STEM Field Site/Workplace Experience with the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance and from PAEC’S FloridaLearns STEM Scholars Summer Challenge, STEMulaton Robotics Challenge.

Head shared about his project at the University of Florida Immersion into STEM Experience. 

Walton County teachers assisting with this endeavor were Linda Young, Tammie King and Charles Trotman.
