 The South Walton branch of Okaloosa Walton Community College took a step closer to reality with the OWCC trustees’ approval of a contract with DAG Architects Inc. of Destin to develop a master plan for the new campus.

After nearly eight hours of testimony and deliberation, the Walton County Planning Commission voted unanimously in favor of the Boys and Girls Club facility proposed for a site on County Road 30A.

Pete Hyde, new pastor at Community Church , received a rude welcome when someone stole his camping trailer that was being used to hold family’s personal belongings and camping gear while they waited to move into their home.

New Publix almost ready in Watercolor Crossings on County Road 395.

Congressman Allen Boyd announced he had secured $300,000 for a feasibility study for Walton County ’s beach renourishment project.

Students from Seaside Neighborhood School were accepted into the Southeastern United States Middle School Honor Band.
