Angel Flight Soars recently announced Victoria Moore as the latest addition to its Board of Directors.

“Victoria is a long-time friend and supporter of Angel Flight, and now we’ll have the privilege of working with her more closely,” said Jeanine Chambers, executive director of Angel Flight, which operates out of PDK, a fixed-based operator in Atlanta. “What a way to start the New Year.”

"There is no better reward than to help someone receive needed medical care that would not otherwise have been available to them,” said Moore. “The Angel Flight staff and team based out of PDK are truly a blessing to those they serve.”

Moore and her husband, Skip, own 723 Whiskey Bravo and share a passion for family, sports, and aviation. Even their Seagrove Beach restaurant represents their passion as it is named after the tail number of their airplane, which is also their wedding anniversary — July 23.

After acquiring their Cirrus SR22 and their instrument rating, the couple began the gratifying experience of "Flying With A Purpose.” Utilizing their aircraft and resources, the Moore's, like all Angel Flight volunteers, are able to transport individuals and families to distant areas to receive medical treatment unavailable to them in their vicinity. Many do not have the means to get to their treatment or do not have sufficient resources available in urgent situation when immediate travel is required.

Victoria has supported and contributed to many charities over the years, including Angel Flight, in which the Moore's fly missions together, Rally Foundation where she is a member of the Board of Advisors and The Elon University Athletic Department where Victoria and her family have endowed a baseball scholarship and gifted a new baseball digital scoreboard.

The Moore’s have three grown children and reside between their Fulton County home in Atlanta and Seagrove Beach, Fla.
