More than a dozen decorated Christmas trees will be on public display during the Festival of Trees from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily Nov. 20-Dec. 25 at Grand Park in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. The kick-off begins at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 20 as all the trees are turned on. Non-profit organizations vie to win cash prizes for Best of Show and People’s Choice awards during the contest. Vote once a day at the Visitor Services Kiosk at Grand Park. At 2 p.m. Dec. 15, contest winners will be announced with hot chocolate and cookies served.

WaterColor

Have Breakfast with Santa from 9-11 a.m. Nov. 23 at Fish Out of Water. Make reservations at 534-5975. Father/Son Football takes place from 1-5 p.m. at Camp WaterColor Field. Cost is $10/player. At 5 p.m., the movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” begins in Marina Park. Bring blanket or beach chair for seating.

Alys in Winter Wonderland

Join Santa for cookie decorating and holiday cheer at 10 a.m. Nov. 23 at Fonville Press, 147 N. Charles Street in Alys Beach. Unwrapped children’s gifts will be accepted to donate to a local Angel Tree program. Call 213-5500.

Holiday Movie

Head down to the Seaside Amphitheater for the annual holiday movie, the Christmas classic “Elf,” under the stars at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 23. Bring low back chairs and blankets.
