History Fair and Antique Farm Day and Tractor Pull
The Walton County History Fair will be held March 13 at the Fairgrounds on Hwy. 83 in DeFuniak Springs. The bi-annual fair will join the Walton County Fair Association’s Antique Farm Day and Tractor Pull. Admission to the History Fair and Antique Farm Day and Tractor Pull is $6/adults, $3/ages 12 – 15, and free under 12.
Share your Walton County history and prepare a display. There is no charge to display a history exhibit. There is a $20 charge for those wishing to sell items. March 9 is the deadline to display information to be included in program.
History display applicants should complete a form available at the Walton County Heritage Museum at 1140 Circle Drive in DeFuniak Springs. Call 850-951-2127. This event is free and open to the public. Friends, family, pets, picnics, music and food are welcome.

Call to Artists: Digital Gaffiti
Alys Beach has announced that it will host the third annual Digital Graffiti, the world’s first outdoor projection art festival, on June 12. Organizers are now calling for submissions from artists around the globe for inclusion in the 2010 competition.

Shop for a Job festivals
Silver Sands Factory Stores will host a “Shop for a Job” festival from 1 to 6 p.m. March 17 at Shopper Services, near Michael Kors and laoste. High school and college student are encouraged to attend to apply for summer jobs.
On March 24, the JobsPlus 40-foot Mobile One-Stop vehicle will be stationed at Silver Sands from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. to facilitate the hiring process by allowing applicants to go online to corporate Web sites and apply for jobs at Silver Sands.
Dog Walk
The third annual Dog Walk on Circle Drive around Lake DeFuniak will be sponsored by the Walton County Health Department March 27. This opportunity for recreation and outdoor physical activity is free and open to the public, with or without a canine companion. The first 50 dogs will receive a free leash and Frisbee, and all dogs are encouraged to dress for the occasion. Registration begins at 10 a.m. near the Amphitheater at Lake DeFuniak and continues until noon. Prizes will be awarded to the “Best Dressed” dogs, with judging at 11:30 a.m. at the registration tent. Seaside Repertory Theatre
Tickets are on sale for the reprisal of the hit musical play, Always…Patsy Cline, which will run at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, March 18 through April 10, in the Seaside Meeting Hall Theatre on Quincy Circle in Seaside. Library book sale
The DeFuniak Springs Friends of the Library will hold a book sale from 9 a.m. to noon March 20 at the Walton County Fairgrounds. All proceeds go to the library.
