RickO’Connorfrom University of Florida’s IFAS extension office will talk about the natural history of snakes in our area, why they visit yards and homes, and how to reduce the chances of an encounter with them at 11 a.m. at the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center. Turtle Bob will also introduce some of his reptilian friends. Standard admission rates apply. Call 835-1824. 

Jazz on the Lawn

Grab a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy Jazz on the Lawn with Roman Street at 5 p.m. in the Seaside Amphitheater on County Road 30A. Call 231-6107.

Duke & The King

The Seaside Repertory Theatre presents the film "Duke & The King" at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at or call 231-0733.

Clean-up day

Bring your yard tools and help at the annual Volunteer Clean-up Day from 8 a.m. to noon at Gulf Cemetery. Rain date is May 11. Drinks will be available and snacks/lunch will be provided at 11 a.m.
