Friday, June 13

Walk Her Way: Men, women and children of all ages are invited to don high heels for Walk Her Way from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Rosemary Beach’s Town Center. The one-mile strut aims to raise awareness of domestic violence with a portion of proceeds benefiting Shelter House.

Topsail tour: Take a nature hike in the preserve and see wildflowers, birds, chicks and scenery from 10-11 a.m. at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Park entry fee is $6 per vehicle. Call 267-8330. Please no open toed shoes; sunscreen is a must as is water. 

Backyard Boogie: Williams Backyard Boogie features Reed Waddle and Bryan Kennedy from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 1921 Chat Holley Road in Santa Rosa Beach. Bring a chair.

Central Square Cinema: Grab your blankets for a free movie, “Free Birds,” at 8 p.m. under the stars at the Seaside Amphitheater.


Saturday, June 14

Williams Syndrome: The Williams Syndrome Association will hold the First Santa Rosa Beach Walk for Williams Syndrome at 9 a.m.Local residents are encouraged to come out and support families affected by Williams syndrome and the WSA. Topsail tour: Breakfast with a Ranger and learn about the park and its wildlife from 9-10:30 a.m. at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. To cover the cost of food, please bring $5, which goes to Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park to enhance the park or bring your own breakfast.

Seaside Farmers Market: Get your pick of fresh produce, baked goods, dairy products, native plants and other unique offerings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Amphitheatre behind Raw & Juicy. Enjoy special cooking demos and activities.

Sinfonia Strolls: Musicians perform acoustic sets from 6-8 p.m. on the cobblestone streets of Rosemary Beach.

Gigi’s Lemonade Stand: Children volunteer at Gigi’s Lemonade Stand from 3-5 p.m. to raise money for the Alaqua Animal Refuge at Gigi’s Fabulous Kids’ Fashions & Toys, 62 Main Street in Rosemary Street.


Sunday, June 15


Summer Sunday Concerts: Gulf Place on 30A will host a free concert with Chronic Jester from 6-9 p.m. on the Amphitheater lawn. Bring chairs and blankets.

ArtWalk on the Harbor: Local and regional artists and vendors display their work at ArtWalk on the Harbor from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. from HarborWalk Village to AJ’s. The event is free.

Sunday cinema: A free movie, “Finding Nemo,” begins at 8 p.m. in the Events Plaza at the Village of Baytowne Wharf.

Father’s Day Cruise: Celebrate Dad on the water from 1-3 p.m. as you treat him to a three-course, chef prepared meal while cruising the local waters. Check in at 12:15 at SunQuest Cruises at Baytowne Marina. Prices range from $15-$55 including meal and 2-hour cruise. Reservations required at or call 650-2519.


Monday, June 16

Groovin’ On The Green: Enjoy the music of Jones & Co. from 7-9 p.m. at the Village Green at Carillon Beach, 100 Carillon Market St. in Panama City Beach.

Concerts in the Park: Bring blankets and beach chairs to enjoy a free concert with the Jeff Carter Group from 6-8 p.m. at Marina Park in WaterColor.

Monday Sky Surfing: Enjoy three shows from fly-board extraordinaire Ben Merrell from 7-9 p.m. over the Lagoon at the Village of Baytowne Wharf.


Tuesday, June 17

Boomin’ Tuesdays: Lawn games and inflatables from 7-9 p.m. in the Events Plaza at Baytowne Wharf plus fireworks will light up the sky at 9:15 p.m. over the Lagoon.

Cinema Under The Stars: Bring a blanket or low back chair to enjoy the movie “Despicable Me” under the stars from 8-10 p.m. in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre on Somerset Street.

Seaside Shorts: Cool off while enjoying a variety of bite-sized short plays at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the Seaside Repertory Theatre, 216 Quincy Circle in Santa Rosa Beach. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at


Wednesday, June 18

Wednesday Night Concert Series: A free concert with Cumberland Collective from 7-9 p.m. in the Events Plaza at The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Call 267-8186.

Republican Women Federated: Marti Coley, Florida State Representative of District 5, will speak at the 11 a.m. meeting at Cuvee Catering, 12590 Emerald Coast Parkway. The cost is $20/members and $22/guests. Reservations required by June 16 at 837-5321 or

Blood drive: Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast will host the OneBlood mobile unit from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the main entrance of the hospital. All donors will receive a free T-shirt and a meal ticket to the hospital’s café.

Jewels of 30A: Tour the coastal dune lakes along 30A and have a picnic lunch in a state park from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $45. Register at 200-4160. 

Informational meetings: The Walton County Department of Emergency will hold a public informational event to assist the public in preparing for potential hazardous from 10 a.m. to noon at Walmart in Santa Rosa Beach.

Summer Concert Series: Bring blankets and low back chairs to enjoy music with Cadiillac Willy from 7-9 p.m. in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre.

Diabetes classes: Jenny Stuckey, registered nurse and certified diabetes educator, will host self-management classes from 12-4:30 p.m. June 18 and 19 in the Resource Center Suite 1 at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast for adults with diabetes who are looking for ways to manage their disease. Pre-registration required and a physician referral is needed to attend. Call 278-3683.

Thursday, June 19

Beach Blast: Elephant Walk restaurant in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will have a free evening of entertainment on the beach at 6 p.m. Activities include beach bonfires, live music by Bo Adams, children’s activities, bounce houses, face painting, balloon sculpting, a photo lounge, s’mores, and a fireworks show. Select activities are at an additional cost.

Americana Under The Stars: Bring a chair, a beverage and enjoy the music of Matthew Cochran at 6 p.m. in the amphitheater at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Open mic begins the evening. Free admission into park and a suggested donation of $5 goes to the Friends of Topsail Hill. Food available for purchase.

Concerts in the Village: MKAF presents Alter Eagles, a tribute to the Eagles, at 7 p.m. at the Dugas Pavilion at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin. Bring a picnic and wine or beverage of choice, or purchase meal from local restaurant on-site. Admission is $10/adult and children under 12 and MKAF members are free. Call 650-2226.

ECMS: The Emerald Coast Meditation Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. at 480 N. Co. Hwy. 393 in Santa Rosa Beach. Sarah Schindele, grant manager with the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, will speak on “Healing Our Connection to the Earth,” discussing the spiritual connection between humans and the earth. Magical Thursday: Captain Davy performs a magic show from 7-9 p.m. in the Events Plaza at Baytowne Wharf.

Moonlight and Movies: Blankets and lawn chairs welcome for a fun movie night with “Mary Poppins (G)” under the stars at 8:15 p.m. on the Western Green in Rosemary Beach.


Friday, June 20

Star gazing: Henderson Beach State Park in Destin will host a star gazing program from 5-10 p.m. Telescopes will be available for public viewing of star clusters, planets, and galaxies. Prior to sunset, telescopes will be equipped for safe viewing of the sun. All those attending should arrive prior to sunset. Call 837-7550 for sunset time. 

Topsail tour: Hike in the globally rare and imperiled coastal dune lake, No Name Lake, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Park entry fee is $6 per vehicle. Call 267-8330. Please bring sunscreen and water.

Grayton Beer Concert: Grayton Beer and Peddlers Pavilion in Seacrest Beach present a 30A Summer Concert Series with Joe and Jay from 6-10 p.m. Beer and wine available through Peddlers Pub, and admission is free.
