Easy on 30A Benefit Concert returns for third year

The third annual Easy on 30A free Benefit Concert will take place from 6-10 p.m. July 3 at WaterColor’s Marina Park, just off scenic highway 30A in Santa Rosa Beach.

Performers will include Tim Jackson, Geoff McBride, The First Note Band, Sharif Iman and Ike Bartley. Raffle and silent auction items donated by local businesses will benefit the Muscogee Indian Nation in Bruce, Fla., LightHouse Family Retreat, and Alaqua Animal Refuge.

Admission is free. This will be an outdoor event, so plan ahead to bring a blanket or chairs for seating. Coolers and picnics are welcomed. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

Donations will be gladly accepted at the event and in advance to benefit all of the charities. There will also be a small goods and non-perishable food donation box set up at the event entrance for the Muscogee Indian Nation. Easy on 30A invites everyone to attend, enjoy the music and support these local charities.

Easy on 30A was founded three years ago by locals Beth and Randy Carroll, with an idea of bringing musicians together to highlight the great local talent along 30A and to bring local awareness to charities in the area. This is the third year that the Easy On 30A Benefit Concerts have supported Alaqua Animal Refuge. Alaqua is a no-kill shelter and is located in Northwest Florida. It is home to more than 250 animals and actively rescues, rehabilitates and adopts a wide variety of animals in need.

“We are beyond thrilled to be hosting our third annual Easy On 30A Benefit Concert in WaterColor,” said Beth and Randy Carroll. “What started out as a small event for friends and family has turned into an amazing community affair with over 1,000 attendees and thousands of dollars raised for our charities. We are not at all surprised that 30A has once again rallied together to support their very own, and we are humbled and grateful to all of you making this happen again this year with us.”

Easy On 30A is presented by the WaterColor Homeowners Association that graciously allows the use of Marina Park in WaterColor to bring this free concert to WaterColor owners, area residents and visitors to the 30A community. Easy On 30A works together with the WaterColor Community and WaterColor Resort to bring this fun charity event to fruition during one of the busiest weeks of the summer.
