Friday, June 27

Central Square Cinema: Grab your blankets for a free movie, “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2,” at 8 p.m. under the stars at the Seaside Amphitheater.

Book signing: Patsy Dorris Hale of Santa Rosa Beach and Fort Worth, Texas, will sign copies of her book, “He Heard His Brother Call His Name,” from 10 a.m. to noon at Sun Dog Bookstore in Seaside. The book is a true story of a larger-than-life Texas family and the strong ties that bound two of its infamous sons.

Topsail tour: Identify the differences between sharks and dolphins from 2-3 p.m. at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Park entry fee is $6 per vehicle. Call 267-8330.

Parrot Head Club: The Emerald Coast Parrot Head Club will meet from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Dockside Oyster Bar & Grill, 821 Bayshore Drive in Niceville.

Wine tasting: Taste three white and three red wines plus a gourmet tapas plate from 4-6 p.m. at Wild Olives, 104 N. Barrett Square in Rosemary Beach. Cost is $25/person.

Grayton Beer Concert: Grayton Beer and Peddlers Pavilion in Seacrest Beach present a 30A Summer Concert Series with Fran and Allie from 6-10 p.m.  Beer and wine available through Peddlers.

 

Saturday, June 28

Habitat for Humanity: Two homes will be dedicated and Habitat will host a grand opening for its new ReStore in Santa Rosa Beach at 9:30 a.m. at 89 N. 3rd Street. The new Restore is at 110 S. Co. Hwy. 393 in Santa Rosa Beach. 

Artist Bazaar: Artists at Gulf Place presents its Artist Bazaar from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Artists at Gulf Place green in the center of the Gulf Place loop. Bazaar features local artists, craftspeople and artisan vendors, interactive activities for children, and a free hot dog for those who make a purchase.

Jazz Brunch: Messina’s On 30A hosts a Jazz Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays at Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach. Build your own Bloody Mary bar and Bottomless Mimosas.

 

Sunday, June 29

Sunday cinema: A free movie, “Monster University,” begins at 8 p.m. in the Events Plaza at the Village of Baytowne Wharf.

Summer Sunday Concerts: Gulf Place on 30A will host a free concert with Tony Vegas from 6-9 p.m. on the Amphitheater lawn. Bring chairs and blankets.

Bluegrass/Gospel: Grayt Grounds of Monet Monet, 100 County Hwy. 30A East in Grayton Beach, presents Sunday morning bluegrass/gospel music with Dismal Creek from 10 a.m. to noon. Grayt coffee and homemade pastries available.

Beach Service: Worship at the beach with Hope Lutheran Church at 8 a.m. at Ed Walline Beach Access across from Gulf Place on Scenic Hwy. 30A in Santa Rosa Beach. Bring a towel, chair, or stand on the boardwalk. The service will be held at the church’s U.S. 98 campus during inclement weather and if the temperature is below 50 degrees. Call 267-0322.

 

Monday, June 30

Concerts in the Park: Bring blankets and beach chairs to enjoy a free concert with Jones & Co. from 6-8 p.m. at Marina Park in WaterColor.

Monday Sky Surfing: Enjoy three shows from fly-board extraordinaire Ben Merrell from 7-9 p.m. over the Lagoon at the Village of Baytowne Wharf.

Groovin’ On The Green: Enjoy the music of Tidewater from 7-9 p.m. at the Village Green at Carillon Beach, 100 Carillon Market St. in Panama City Beach.

 

Tuesday, July 1

Seaside Shorts: Cool off while enjoying a variety of bite-sized short plays at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the Seaside Repertory Theatre, 216 Quincy Circle in Santa Rosa Beach. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at www.lovetherep.com.

Boomin’ Tuesdays: Enjoy lawn games and inflatables from 7-9 p.m. in the Events Plaza at Baytowne Wharf. Fireworks light up the sky over the Lagoon at 9:15 p.m.

Sunset Movie: Enjoy a free movie at 8 p.m. in WaterColor’s Marina Park.

Cinema Under The Stars: Bring a blanket or low back chair to enjoy the movie “Monsters University” under the stars from 8-10 p.m. in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre on Somerset Street.

 

Wednesday, July 2

Seaside Summer Concerts: Celebrate summer with the sounds of The Mulligan Brothers at 7 p.m. in the Seaside Amphitheater. Event is free.

Wednesday Night Concert Series: A free concert with Dread Clampitt from 7-9 p.m. in the Events Plaza at The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Call 267-8186.

Summer Concert Series: Bring blankets and low back chairs to enjoy music with Heritage from 7-9 p.m. in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre.

 

Thursday, July 3

Beach Blast: Elephant Walk restaurant in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will have a free evening of entertainment on the beach at 6 p.m. Activities include beach bonfires, live music by Bo Adams, children’s activities, bounce houses, face painting, balloon sculpting, a photo lounge, s’mores, and a fireworks show. Select activities are at an additional cost. Patio seating available for dinner at Elephant Walk. Make reservations at 267-4800.

Magical Thursday: Captain Davy performs a magic show from 7-9 p.m. in the Events Plaza at Baytowne Wharf.

Moonlight and Movies: Blankets and lawn chairs welcome for a fun movie night under the stars at 8:15 p.m. on the Western Green in Rosemary Beach. Movie is “The Wizard of Oz” (PG).

Shrimp Boil: Grayton Beach Catering hosts a sunset shrimp boil and bonfire on the beach at 6 p.m. GBC provides dinner, bonfire with S’mores, beach chairs, music, soda and water. Bring adult beverages. Cost is $50/adults and $20/children under 12. Hot dogs with chips are available for children under 12 for $10.
