'Flutes Furioso' in concert April 13 and 20

The flute ensemble "Flutes Furioso" of Okaloosa-Walton College performs twice in concert in April. On April 13, they perform at 2 p.m. in the atrium at the Westwood Retirement Resort, 1001 Mar Walt Drive, Fort Walton Beach. The flutists perform again on April 20 at 2 p.m. in the Tyler Recital Hall of the Mattie Kelly Fine & Performing Arts Center at OWC in Niceville. Both concerts are free and open to the public.
The Flutes Furioso ensemble is in its 14th season at OWC. The group is made up of local flutists, including both students and adults. It uses many of the members of the flute family, including piccolo, concert flute, alto flute and bass flute. For information about the concerts or joining the flute choir, call the conductor, Robin Horne at (850) 243-2609, or the OWC Fine Arts Office at (850) 729-5382.
