CVHN's annual Hurricane Party at Bud & Alley's last Friday night was a fabulous and fun party for a great cause. Dave and Carol Rauschkolb hosted and supplied quite the spread and variety of food! Tricia and Mark Northcutt, Zach Billingsley, Candace Abuvala, Kitty Taylor, Jeanette Miller, Linda Miller, Nancy and Barron Strother, Patti Johnson, Tommy May, Gayle Schoettle, Jan and Joe Stanko, John Stasko, Lynn Nesmith, Mike Ragsdale, Steve and Karen Wagner, Demetria and Richard McNeese, Lourdes Reynafarje, Bob and Lorre James, Jane and Greg Bahr, Vickie and Ray Dollar were some of the 200 who enjoyed.

Walton County Chamber held its monthly Business After Hours last Thursday night at Burnt Pine Golf Club and saw a good turnout for it. Karen and Rick Schoonover, Darwin Davis and Ginny Olsen, Kitty Whitney, Tresha Brown, Stephanie and Peter Burke, Joe Serrato, Jamie McIntosh, Michael McIntosh, Mike McIntosh, Peggy Brown, Susan Henry, Russ Noblitt, Wendy Radke, Kellie Jo Kilburg, Catherine Brannon, and Teri McCall were there.

I saw Sharon Thompson, Lorene Gruzdis, Judi and Rick Sikora at the pool last weekend.

And I saw my first pompano up close and personal fishing in the Gulf.

Wasn't the Gulf beautiful last weekend? Perfect.

Saturday night, I enjoyed some great hors d'oeuvres with Chick and Cathy Huettel.
