Sinfonia, Sibelius and the 7th (of Beethoven)

Grammy Award-nominee Caroline Goulding returns to the Sinfonia stage to perform Sibelius’ epic violin concerto at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25 at Destiny Worship Center in Miramar Beach. The concert concludes with Beethoven’s rhythmically whimsical and inspiring seventh symphony. Tickets range from $29.50 to $42.50. Visit sinfoniagulfcoast.org.

Cultural Arts Alliance’s art exhibit

An opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. Jan. 25 for Abstraction: An Adventure into the Imagination, presented by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County in partnership with Northwest Florida State College. Artists exhibited are Donnelle Clark, Juan Francisco Adaro, Joanna Ellington, and Didon Comer. Show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, Jan. 25 through March 17, at South Walton Campus of NW Florida State College, 109 Greenway Trail in Santa Rosa Beach.

Chili Cook-Off

Hope Lutheran Church hosts its annual Chili Cook-Off at 6 p.m. Jan. 25 at 3422 U.S. 98 in Santa Rosa Beach. Join us for a time of great chili, food, fun and prizes.
