• Nov. 28: Bike ride in Holley-by-the-Sea/Hidden Creek Subdvision/Resort area at 10 a.m. Meet at the Hidden Creek Golf Course. Bring a picnic lunch to eat at Bobbi Serpico’s home. Call 499-4404.
• Nov. 29: Bike ride in the older section of Destin at 3 p.m. Meet at the Clement Taylor Park on Calhoun Avenue. Supper after at a nearby restaurant. Call 301-9452.
• Dec. 1: Bike ride on Pensacola Beach out to Ft. Pickens at 10 a.m. Meet at the last public parking area on Ft. Pickens Road before entering the Gulf Islands National Seashore area. Lunch after at nearby restaurant. Call 736-3909.

Cottages for Kids

Cottages for Kids, a fundraising event that benefits Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Inc., will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends through Nov. 24, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 22 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Nov. 23 on the East Long Green in Rosemary Beach for the public to view and for kids to play. Volunteers are needed help sell raffle tickets, serve as security around the cottages and other various duties. Email shaye@cvhnkids.org.

Topsail tour

Learn the full history of Florida’s most famous reptile, the alligator, at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 24 at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. All programs require a $6 per car entry admission. Call 267-8330.
