Earth Day Festival

The Biophilia Center hosts a Family Friendly/Fun-Filled Earth Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20 with music, food, animal ambassadors, environmental demos, arts and crafts, facepainting, hikes, children's gardening, edible landfill, Muscogee Indian dancing, Turtle-Bob, Birds of Prey, local vendors and more. Admission is $2; children under 6 free.

Bunko Night

Join the fun dice game, sponsored by The Freeport Town Planters Society, at 6 p.m. April 20 at the Blount House on Kylea Laird Road in Freeport. Cost is $10 for a round of 22 games with a portion of proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society/Relay for Life. RSVP at 974-7772 or 835-1737. Prizes will be awarded and snacks and beverages provided.

Earth Day Festival

Celebrate the unique ecological treasures in Walton County from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20 with door prizes, children's activities, educational games, music, food and fun for all ages at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. The festival kicks off with a Ocean Hour Beach Clean Up from 9-10 a.m.; cooking demonstrations, hikes and hands on experiences from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and a 5K race at 5 p.m. Visit ww.facebook.com/topsailhill.statepark for a full list of events.
