Grand Boulevard Farmers’ Market: The new market will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays in Grand Park between Cantina Laredo and Tommy Bahama’s.Vendors will offer locally sourced food-based items including produce, eggs, milk, butter, grass-fed beef, chicken, lamb, and pork, honey, pickled vegetables and gourmet jams. 

Americana Under The Stars: Bring a chair, a beverage and enjoy the music of Katherine Archer at 6 p.m. July 24 in the amphitheater at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Open mic begins the evening. Free admission into park and a suggested donation of $5 goes to the Friends of Topsail Hill. Food available for purchase.

Beach Blast: Elephant Walk restaurant in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will have a free evening of entertainment on the beach at 6 p.m. Thursdays through July 31. Activities include beach bonfires, live music by Bo Adams, children’s activities, bounce houses, face painting, balloon sculpting, a photo lounge, s’mores, and a fireworks show. Shrimp Boil: Grayton Beach Catering hosts a sunset shrimp boil and bonfire on the beach at 6 p.m. Thursdays. GBC provides dinner, bonfire with S’mores, beach chairs, music, soda and water. Alzheimer’s support group: Alzheimer’s Family Services will hold a support group for family members or friends coping with a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease at 2 p.m. July 29 at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast, Suite 3 Conference Room, in Miramar Beach.  The support group is free and limited respite care is available. Art exhibit: The artwork of Carol Dickson of Santa Rosa Beach will be displayed at the Coastal Branch Library in Santa Rosa Beach during August.

TDC: The Walton County Tourist Development Council will meet at 9 a.m. Aug. 5 at the South Walton Annex Boardroom.

County Commissioners: The Walton County Board of County Commissioners will hold special meetings to discuss the Parking Needs Assessment in South Walton County at 3 p.m. Aug. 12 at the South Walton County Courthouse Annex, 31 Coastal Centre Blvd. in Santa Rosa Beach.

Auditions: Seaside will host auditions for the Third Annual Seaside Nutcracker from 5-6 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Seaside Assembly Hall, 168 Smolian Circle in Santa Rosa Beach. Dancers ages 8 to 18 from the Northwest Florida regions are eligible to participate in auditions. An audition fee and pre-registration is required. Pastel workshop: Frank Federico, PSA Master Pastelist and IAPS Master Circle Recipient, will be the workshop instructor Oct. 27, 28 and 29 at the Cultural Arts Alliance Bayou Arts Center in Santa Rosa Beach. 30A Farmers’ Market: This community event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays in Town Center in Rosemary Beach features fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, honey, cheese and more. Market is held on Thursdays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Artist Bazaar: Artists at Gulf Place presents its Artist Bazaar from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays at Artists at Gulf Place green in the center of the Gulf Place loop. Bazaar features local artists, craftspeople and artisan vendors, interactive activities for children, and a free hot dog for those who make a purchase.
