These days, who doesn't have fitness on their minds?
But there is the commitment, the time, and the cost. The Market Shops at Sandestin has your back on that last one.
Through July you can enjoy pop-up fitness classes on the lawn at The Market Shops for one hour every day, no contract to sign and no cost.
"It's true," said Jessica Proffitt-Bracken, who came up with the idea while brainstorming with her "girls" in her office.
Bracken's office is located at The Market Shops and she helps them with their public relations.
"We said, 'We have that big, beautiful lot out there, why not do something on it to appeal to locals and visitors and that would appeal to all ages?' " said Bracken.
The pop-up fitness classes are being offered on that big beautiful lawn every weekday from 9 to 10 a.m.
Each Monday will feature Pilates Stretch with Essential Oils by Susan Authement Dunnam.
Tuesdays will feature Pure Barre, courtesy of Pure Barre 30A and Pure Barre Destin.
Wednesdays are Tabata Circuit Class day with Scott Lassiter.
Every Thursday is Core Pilates taught by Lisa Turpin.
And on Fridays experience Unique Flowing Fitness with Andi.
The classes are taught rain or shine.
"We can go inside the gazebo at the courtyard if it rains," said Bracken, who is taking the classes, along with her "girls."
Classes are free. Just bring a mat and water.
