After five years in business, William Jobe will transfer ownership of his Seaside vacation rental management company, VR30A, to Vacasa.

Jobe plans to move on to new ventures, and the company’s remaining employee, Parker Jensen, will join the Vacasa team. Vacasa, a technology-enabled vacation rental management company, combines centralized technology and marketing with local, on-the-ground staff to provide a best-in-class vacation rental experience to homeowners and guests.

“For years we have provided our owners with effective, personalized management services, and we are proud to have done so,” Jobe said. “Now, by expanding our scope of services to include the industry’s most advanced marketing technology, we’re taking that experience to the next level. I couldn’t be more confident in the Vacasa team, and am looking forward to witnessing how this partnership benefits all involved.”

Eight homes will now benefit from Vacasa’s full-service business model, and will also retain the existing operational support. Vacasa also plans to hire additional local employees as needed for greater efficiency. The homes, all within walking distance to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, range from one-bedroom guest cottages to 10-bedroom homes. Under Vacasa, the vacation rentals will gain more exposure through booking channel integrations, generating more revenue for owners.

“Vacasa’s business model marries local operational expertise with centralized systems,” said Eric Breon, Vacasa’s founder and CEO. “Our local teams are at the core of our business, and we’re looking forward to working with the community in Seaside to drive tourism to this beautiful destination.”

Committed to its employee-focused philosophy, Vacasa provides a companywide minimum wage starting at $15 an hour, and provides employees with numerous employment benefits, including 401K matching, health care, and a cell phone benefit. Vacasa also regularly sponsors and donates to local events as part of the company’s commitment to support and build-up the communities it does business in.
