Rear-end collision occurred on U.S. Highway 98.

A Walton County Sheriff's Office deputy was cited for careless driving following a rear-end collision on U.S. Highway 98 on Monday afternoon.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol news release, WCSO Deputy Farron Collins, 30, was traveling east on U.S. 98 in a marked patrol car at the time of the 5:16 p.m. accident.
