2. Adult Kickball Kickoff Party

A community league will meet and form teams at 6 p.m. Aug. 22 at Louis Louis, 35 Musset Bayou Road in Santa Rosa Beach. The Luke Langford Band will perform. No experience required. This is a sport and social league consisting of nearly 400 local adults looking to get out and meet new people in a fun, largely entertaining environment. 3. Topsail Hill Preserve State Park

Enjoy the outdoors by hiking, fishing, bird-watching or swimming at the park. White sand beaches, as well as sand dunes, lakes, unique plant and animal life, and wetlands make this a place to visit. There’s even a free tram system to the undeveloped sugar white shores. Explore Topsail with a special 10 station geocache program from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.
