SANTA ROSA BEACH – A Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputy responding to a 911 hang-up call found a blonde woman with blood pouring out of her nose.

She told the deputy the name of the woman who beat her up and said the woman might have had something on her knuckles, but she wasn’t sure.

The deputy found the suspect and noticed she had several rings on her left hand and another on her right, according to her arrest report.

The suspect said she’d never met “this lady,” referring to the victim.

She also said the victim was trespassing on her friend’s property and told her to leave.

A man who was with the suspect told the deputy that there had been no physical altercation and that he’d “never seen (the victim) before in (his) life.”

The deputy took the suspect into custody and asked if she had anything illegal on her person, but she said she didn’t.

At the jail, a correctional officer found a needle in her bra.

The 37-year-old Santa Rosa Beach woman was charged with battery with bodily harm, possession of paraphernalia and introducing contraband into a jail facility.
