The Village of Baytowne Wharf has welcomed Stadium Hotdogs into it’s “line-up” of outstanding dining options. Like baseball, hot dogs and funnel cakes are American staples.

Proprietors Shelley and Tony DeSousa, homeowners within the Sandestin resort community, chose Baytowne Wharf for its unique setting of a fishing village by the bay. Their commitment to excellence extends well beyond offering a quality dining experience at affordable prices. As members of this community, they will be onsite in the restaurant to ensure every guest is treated as family. Service includes dine in, takeout and delivery service through the resort and catering. Large groups are welcome.

“Shelley and I are excited to open a fast casual restaurant in The Village of Baytowne Wharf," said Tony DeSousa. "Great food and great prices! Stadium Hot Dogs will serve a variety of specialty dogs from a New York Dog to a Chicago Dog. Patrons can customize their dog to their liking choosing toppings galore. Our menu also includes fresh wings and a New England lobster roll. Our funnel cakes will be made fresh to order.”

The DeSousa’s believe in being good neighbors and are looking forward to getting Stadium Hot Dogs involved with local charity events to help the community. Kitty Whitney with Sandestin Real Estate added the addition of Stadium Hot Dogs and the commitment of quality from the DeSousa’s is a home run for The Village of Baytowne Wharf and our community.

Stadium Hotdogs will open just before Christmas at the location previously occupied by Baytowne Melt, near the playground.

And speaking of Baytowne Melt, this past summer Baytowne Melt rebranded and grew to Baytowne Provisions, moving into their marina-facing location and expanded their menu. Baytowne Provisions offers a beautiful Marina view, as well as a market with local goods and sundries. Under the talent and vision of local chef Jim Shirley, whose success stories compound, along with his partner, Kelli Castille, Baytowne Provisions is unique.

“We are open from 8 a.m. till 9 p.m., and we offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We welcome you to join us for full table service all day. This is your comfortable place to eat and relax, where you can bring friends, work, a deck of cards. ... no rules,” said GM Mike Rodriguez.

For dinner, Baytowne Provisions evolves into a full service restaurant with table service starting at 4 p.m. daily. Seating is available in both dining areas upstairs and down. In peak season, both bars are open and in shoulder season, only the downstairs bar. Coming soon is happy hour, 3-6 p.m., with half-priced mixed drinks or a dollar off wine and beer. The market is open daily from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. close.
