Suspect fired a 9mm round at an individual and then fled scene.

DEFUNIAK SPRINGS — A 19-year-old male was arrested following a shooting Saturday on Quebec Avenue. Walton County Sheriff's Office reported there were no apparent injuries resulting from the incident.

According to a WCSO press release, just before 1 p.m. Saturday deputies responded to a shots fired call where the suspect entered the adjoining property and fired one round toward a subject and then fled on foot.

A 9mm shell was found at the scene and a bullet hole was discovered in the privacy fence at the home. After canvassing the neighborhood, a suspect was identified as Antwan Tyrell Hill.

Just after 6 p.m., Hill was located and arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm and discharging a firearm in public. He was booked into the Walton County Jail and is currently being held without bond.
