Sandestin Investments is poised to launch its newest neighborhood, Osprey Pointe, and looking to break ground in the spring.
"It's an exciting time at Sandestin for development, renovation, and revitalization," said Kitty Whitney, broker and executive director of Sandestin Real Estate.
Osprey Pointe will be situated just northeast of the Welcome Center and feature five buildings that will face the Bay and Jolee Island with 16 units per building.
The units will consist of two, three, and four-bedroom floor plans consisting of 1,260, 1,400, and 1,550 square feet with the four bedrooms offering 2,500 square feet.
The units are designed to be livable and spacious, Whitney said, and feature European fixtures and cabinets, custom moldings, walk-in showers and expansive balconies.
"They will be high end and high quality," said Whitney.
Amenities will include a horseshoe-shaped swimming pool, and outdoor gathering space with gazebo.
The units will sell for between $487,000 and $1.15 million.
The condos will be rental capable and owners and guests will have access to resort activities and recreational facilities.
Whitney said 10 percent of the 77 units have already been reserved.
The development was named for the ospreys that populate the woodlands along the Bay's waterfront.
Completion is targeted for 2019.
