The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed incoming chair Steve Wolfrom and the 2018 board of directors during the organization's annual Gala held at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa.

Wolfrom is joined on the board by Chair Elect Allison Smith, Herbafex; Vice Chair of Membership and Treasurer Lisa Comeau, SoWal.com; Tony Steele, Hilton Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort; General Counsel Ginger Barry Boyd, Broad & Cassel; Past Chair Fred Leopold, Community Bank; and President/CEO Secretary Megan Harrison, Walton Area Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to naming the new board of directors, the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of several awards voted on by the community. Young Professional of the Year was awarded to Chelsea Blaich, Grayton Beer Company; Ambassador of the Year went to Allison Smith, Herbafex; Small Business of the Year North went to Walton County Tax Collector’s Office; Grayton Beer Company was named Small Business of the Year South; Large Business of the Year went to CHELCO; and the Walton Area Chamber Person of the Year was Lisa Comeau, SoWal.com.

Recently re-branded and re-launched, the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce also swore in the newly appointed board for the Young Professionals of Walton County.
