MIRAMAR BEACH – A man who was out past his curfew driving a car that wasn’t registered with a license that wasn’t valid got caught.

The 37-year-old man told the Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputy that he’d just bought the car, which is why the license plate didn’t match.

He gave his name and date of birth, adding that he was on probation and out past curfew.

The traffic stop took place just before midnight.

The deputy checked with dispatch, who told him that the suspect was on felony probation and that his Arizona license plate was suspended.

He was charged with driving with the wrong license plate, driving with a suspended license and violation of felony probation.
