FREEPORT — A man who was pulled over for expired registration was arrested after police determined he did not have a driver’s license.

Deputies with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office pulled the 43-year-old man over on April 20 after his registration tag read that it expired in Dec. 2017. The driver only had a Mexican Consular I.D. card, but no valid driver’s license.

The man had been pulled over for the same offense in 2012 and 2014.

He was arrested and taken to the Walton County Jail on charges of driving without a license, according to his arrest report.
