The Northwest Florida Symphony Chorale auditions for the 2018-2019 season will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 28 in Tyler Recital Hall on the Niceville campus of Northwest Florida State College.

This year’s season will include choruses from Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem (in its entirety), among other selections. The chorale will perform with the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra under the direction of new musical director Devin Hughes. Chorale rehearsals will be conducted by Lois Henry, music professor at Northwest Florida State College.

At the audition, each singer will be asked to sing one minute of a prepared song (either in English or a foreign language) and do a short sight singing excerpt (in English). To schedule an audition time, contact Cathy Trolian at trolianc@nwfsc.edu or 850-729-5382.
