A Baytowne blowout: Village closes out summer with music, fireworks and art

When the concerts conclude, art takes center stage with the Baytowne Art Walk which runs 5 to 10 p.m. on Aug.30 to Sept. 1. The village welcomes the fall season under the moonlight with a weekend good for the art and soul,” Motes said. “Stroll the streets as you enjoy live music from local musicians and browse a variety of art from regional artists.”

A variety of different mediums including folk art, jewelry, frames, and fine art will be on display.


Continuing summer Events at Baytowne Wharf

Baytowne Block Party | Aug. 5 and 12 from 7 – 9 p.m.

Shake a leg with DJ Glen at the Baytowne Live Stage on Adventure Lane . He will be spinning your favorite tunes for kid's to dance to. Stop for some cotton candy or popcorn. Create your piece of the puzzle for the Baytowne summer mural project, and be on the look-out for Captain Davy as he is searching for pirates to join his crew. The captain is full of surprises and has a bit of magic up his sleeve!
