Raising money for a good cause is always in style, but the staff at Caring and Sharing of South Walton takes it a step further with their annual Fashion Show.

Volunteers — men, women and kids — put together and model looks from the Caring and Sharing thrift store to showcase the array of goods that are donated to the store every day. The event also features a light lunch and raffle prizes.

"We use this event to promote what we do and what we have in store," explained Donnell Wolfe of Caring and Sharing. "We sell everything and anything. Many items still have price tags on them."

With Mardi Gras right around the corner, the Fashion Show's theme is "Let the Good Times Roll." About 25 volunteer models will choose one festive outfit to wear for the runway finale.

For almost 20 years, Caring and Sharing has served families throughout north and south Walton County by providing food, clothing furniture and monetary help for utilities. In 2013, the local non-profit doled out almost 10,000 bags of food. One hundred percent of the fashion show proceeds will go toward the Caring and Sharing food pantry.

While supporting Caring and Sharing is the goal of the event, it will also be a fun afternoon. The lunch will be catered by the Sandestin Linkside Conference Center , which Wolfe said does a great job every year. Original artwork, decorative items and restaurant gift certificates are just some of the prizes that will be up for grabs during the raffle.

"My favorite part of the event is the end when all of the planning and organization comes together," Wolfe said. "We have a lot of fun."
