A new year, new Friends at the library

On Feb. 13, Act4Murder Mystery Theater will be presented by Paula Hilton. Ms. Hilton is an actress, director and screenwriter. On Feb. 20, Diane Merkel, historian and author of DeFuniak Springs, will speak on Walton County History.

The final program of February will be on Feb. 27, when Jennifer Jones will show a PowerPoint presentation on native plants, pollinators, wildlife and the conservation of wildlife in their native ecosystems. Jones is the owner of Nature of the Beach and is a volunteer for South Walton Turtle Watch, Florida Lakewatch and the Biophilia Center, among other organizations.

All of the above programs will be held in the Library Community Room at 10 a.m.
