For the music lovers, Wednesday night brings the beloved concert series. Grab you favorite chair or blanket and head out to the events plaza lawn for live music under the stars.

Performers include country rock musician Denton Hatcher and the Soapbox Blues (June 5), the zydeco-inspired Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe (June 12), the soulful Rick Estrin & the Night Cats (June 19), and the Cumberland Collective (June 26).

Thursday nights offer visitors to Baytowne an interactive experience like no other, as the Emerald Coast Theater Company presents "The Adventures of Andy the Alligator and Captain Clyde" at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Andy and Clyde have been long-time partners but their friendship is tested with the competition for the title of "The Best Fisherman of the Emerald Coast ." As part of the show, Andy and Clyde recruit crew members from the audience and they challenge each other at different spots around the Village and Sandestin, such as Jolee Island .

"The entire show is interactive and about the crowd," said Lanier Motes, events manager for the Village of Baytowne Wharf. "It gets the kids involved."

So whether you are looking for family friendly entertainment, top-notch dining and shopping or just a relaxing night of music, stop by Baytowne for a guaranteed good time.

"We love to do things that entertain people," Motes said. "You can come and walk around and enjoy yourself. There is always something to do."
