Angelin ‘ Angie” Williams McKowen

Mrs. Angie McKowen, passed away Nov. 13, 2009. in Freeport in her home with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 25, 1945, at home in Enterprise, Ala., to Howard and Willie Gladden Williams.

Mrs. McKowen was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading her Bible. She loved working with her flowers and plants. She was very devoted to her customers at the Seaside Post Office where she worked for 18 years.

Mrs. McKowen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas McKowen, one sister Marilyn Sparks, and one brother Jack Williams.

Mrs. McKowen  is survived by her daughter Tanya Renee Cauley of  Sandestin, Fla.; grandchildren, Olivia Nicole Cauley, Zachary James Cauley, Elena Brooke Cauley and Emma Renee Cauley; sisters, Carolyn Brown and husband Grady Brown, Debra White and husband Mike  White and Margaret  Calhoun; and brothe,r Harold Williams and wife Marion.

A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 15 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue in DeFuniak Springs.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Chapel of Clary-Glenn Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike White officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hatcher Cemetery in Freeport.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Cauley, Vince Brown, Cody Brown, Clint White, Tommy Reeves and Eddie Eldridge.

Floral arrangements are being accepted.
