Recently The Sun asked “Should Walton County lower the speed limit on 30A to 35 mph?”
Of almost 300 votes, a whopping 70 percent said “No. I don't want to be stuck behind someone on a golf cart.” About 24 percent agreed saying “the road is already over-crowded and dangerous.” About 13 percent said officials should lower the limit “so everyone can enjoy the view.” Ten percent agreed saying that low-speed vehicles should be allow to traverse the roadways.
