Early this year, Russ Barley relocated his long-time floral design shop from Santa Rosa Beach to Freeport, while still offering a beautiful selection to Freeport, South Walton and Destin.
The move, said Tim Ard, allows Barley a great working location and an expansion of options to his client base. For 10 years, Ard has owned a photo studio and gallery that uses the space at the back of the shop, while Barley now provides the floral selections at the front.
“One block down,” Ard added, “we own the Prissy Hen, which everyone is crazy about.”
With the relocation, Barley can better meet the needs of his customers.
“In cases like weddings,” Ard said, “we’ll be able to offer more services.”
Ard continued to say that Barley’s background in floral design makes Emerald Coast Flowers one of the most sought-after center pieces for any event.
