Two dead in beach crash

The Panama City Beach Police is investigating a crash that left two men dead.

The wreck happened at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the intersection of Front Beach Road and Shalimar Street. Investigators wrote that a 2010 Dodge truck, driven by Michael Wayne Cash, 45, of Tallahassee was traveling westbound on Front Beach Road at a "high rate of speed" when it smashed into a 1993 white Lincoln Limousine driven by Larry Randolph Plant, 56, of Panama City Beach. According to the news release Plant "pulled into (the) path" of the Dodge Truck.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
