In production now for eight months, Huettel, in cooperation with Vizard and 30A TV has produced six "Behind the Gold Star" episodes. During the show, he interviews Walton County Sheriff's Office detectives, those who work in everything from rape crisis to community services.

For the show, the Walton County Sheriff's Office supplies information on where local crimes have been reported.

To help illustrate the various areas, Huettel and Vizard are preparing a large map to show where incidents have occurred throughout Walton County.

"It's in its early stages and eventually a viewer will be able to see exactly where, what kind of crime was committed, when crimes occur in their neighborhood and what to be on the lookout for. It will show areas where people need to be aware of burglaries or break-ins," said Huettel.

The show airs seven days a week around 3 or 4 p.m., and 7 p.m.

However, since there is not a local Public TV station, Huettel said they are dependent on sponsors and more are needed.

"We're not trying to make a profit, just air and make citizens aware," he said.
