Celebrate Easter by the Sea

Easter Sunday is full of delicious food and family fun at WaterColor Inn & Resort. Easter Festivities are open to the public at no charge.

"WaterColor seamlessly marries modern conveniences with the nostalgia of an unassuming beach town from days gone by — providing the ultimate resort experience for families," said Denise Creehan, Director of Marketing at St. Joe Club & Resorts. "From our boutique WaterColor Inn to lavish gulf-front beach homes on 30-A and charming cottages, families have numerous options for the perfect Easter family retreat. There’s no better place to make memories or start new traditions.” Creehan said.

“Sunday's festivities begin at 9 a.m. with an Easter Brunch at The LakeHouse overlooking Western Lake where the guest of honor — the Easter Bunny — will visit with the kids until 11am; so, parents can capture those special photos.  Around 12:15 p.m., the Easter Bunny arrives to join the afternoon festivities in true 30-A fashion — via stand-up paddle board onto The BoatHouse dock. Yes, our Bunny paddles in… instead of hops," Creehan said.

The Easter Brunch menu includes favorites such as: Crisp Rice Crusted Vanilla French Toast with Vermont Maple Syrup, Slow Roaster Garlic and Herb Beef N.Y. Strip Steak, Ginger Glazed Smoked Country Ham, Sweet Potato Grits and a Made-to-Order Omelet Bar.

From 12:30 - 2 p.m. kids of all ages can enjoy face painting and crafts. Easter egg hunts on the resort greens are separated into three groups for children 4 and under, 5 to 8-year-olds and 9+ year olds with one special egg at each of the hunts having a larger prize inside. And, the popular Egg Toss contest starts at 1:30 pm with winners of each age group getting a prize.

Beyond the Easter fun, WaterColor Inn & Resort features pebbled footpaths leading the way to beautiful parks and gardens, a boathouse, tennis courts, a spa, shops, restaurants, a fitness center and, of course, a private sugar-sand beach.

In the evening, experience dinner at Fish Out of Water. The restaurant will be open from 5:30-9 p.m, offering an A la Carte Menu with Chef features. Kids eat free from 5:30-6 p.m. and Happy Hour in the bar is from 5-6 p.m.
