FDOT: Ribbon cutting ceremony for recently completed section of US 331 South
The Walton County Board of Commissioners and the Florida Department of Transportation will have a ribbon cutting ceremony for the recently four-laned segment of U.S. 331 South at 2 p.m. Aug. 17 at Bentley’s by the Bay, 24200 U.S. Hwy. 331S, which is just south of the Clyde B. Wells Bridge where the four-lane segment begins.
Also to be celebrated is the dedication of The Beach Highway, a state designation accorded to U.S. 331 by the Florida Legislature during the 2010 legislative session.
Speaker for the event will be Florida Secretary of Transportation Stephanie Kopelousos. Other Florida legislative members from Northwest Florida and representatives of the federal legislative delegation also plan to attend.
