The Caring & Sharing Program of South Walton County has been adopted by The Vision Council of Coldwell Banker United, Realtors — Destin as the 2014 Community Outreach Project. The Vision Council of CBUR will provide food items to the emergency food bank by utilizing an aggressive couponing campaign.

The goal is to spend approximately 30 percent of the total food bill in cash per month while getting, on average, 70 percent off of the food bill by extreme couponing. The Council has allotted $100 per month in cash to purchase food and non-perishable items.

“This is just one way we, as Realtors, can give to our community because no one should go hungry in our area when we are capable of lending a hand up,” said Tina Starling, CBUR sales associate and Vision Council member,

The CBUR Vision Council is also asking for volunteers who would like to donate food items, Smart Source or Red Plum insert coupons, from the Sunday newspapers. Please contact Coldwell Banker at 850-650-4563. You may also drop off donated food items and coupons Monday through Friday at 4458 Legendary Drive, Suite 100 , in Destin.

Caring & Sharing of South Walton is a non-profit organization that provides food and monetary support to families in the local community. This goal is achieved through donations and selling of donated goods. Thousands of families and individuals are helped each year from the South Walton location.
