Freeport woman arrested after fleeing accident scene

A Freeport resident was charged with careless driving and leaving the scene of a crash with injuries after a Sunday evening crash on County Road 2378 near Seascape Drive.
Casey K. Hurst, who is 21, was traveling eastbound on CR 2378 around 5:30 p.m.,when Hurst's vehicle struck two parked cars and then left the scene.
Brian Yoo, a 37-year-old from Valley, Ala., was in one of the parked cars. He was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola with serious injuries by air ambulence.
The other vehicle was unoccupied.
Hurst was apprehended by the Walton County Sheriff's Office.
