Wow! Could last week have been any more packed full of fun? I think not.

The week began at the press-night showing of "Romantic Fools" last Tuesday night. Stacey and Mike Brady, Myra Williams and her daughter, and Mary Jane Kirby were there.

Seagrove Garden Club celebrated its 50th anniversary last Wednesday at Cafe Thirty-A with a scrumptious lunch by the chef and a cake baked by Patsy Powell. Sarah Modica, Peggy Sue Mullen, Donna Gibson, Jan Stanko, Georgeen Newell, Helena Stoppert, Joanne Mathis, Sharon Jenkins, Rose Rogers, Tim Ryan, Dianne Smith, Patsy Powell, Dot Adams, Julie Kovack, Karen Kolenberg, Donna Vann, Suzanne Smart, Diane Sidwell, Brenda Radtke, Karen White, Beth Coppedge, Barbara Pierce-Smith, Garner Chandler, Patti Johnson, Judy Harris, Gillian Lee, and Sharron Mattison were some who attended. I also saw Bess Grasswick, Ricky Fannin, and Gary Cooper while there.

Stephanie Carter kicked off South Walton Fashion Week in fine fashion last Thursday night at her Southern Fashion House headquarters. The theme was "Boots & Bubbly." I wore my boots and one of Stephanie's dresses that I own. Stephanie showed her fabulous designs while Old Bull Young Bull played and attendees enjoyed tapas from Emerald Coast Catering. Angela Vaughn, Paige Schnell, Morgan Palmer, Sheila Goode, Rebecca Balkcom, Nancy and Barron Strother enjoyed.

Also last Thursday night was Rosemary Beach Foundation's "A Conversation with John Hemingway" at Rosemary Beach Town Hall . Mindy Norris, Brandon Babineaux, Diane Carvalho, Claire Bannerman, John Czapleski, Reynolds Henderson, Jim Anders, Malayne and Robert DeMars, and Zuma Banks were some who attended.

The next morning Hemingway signed copies of his book in front of The Hidden Lantern and I purchased one. It is an unbelievably fascinating read. To be able to talk to him face to face was also very interesting. Ron and Jackie Hart, Jim Anders, Zuma Banks, and Claire Bannerman lunched with him after the signing.

South Walton Fashion Week officially kicked off Friday afternoon on the Tommy Bahama lawn. Jennifer Steele, Stacey Brady, Rebecca Balkcom, Jon Ervin, Jim Bagby, Angela Vaughn, Tiffanie Shelton, Sheila Goode, Jami Ray, Lauren Magli, Beverly Schmitt, Ashley Johnson, Mike and Angela Ragsdale, Joyce Hogue, Dawn Whitty, Jennifer McAlexander, Michael Dobson, Kyle Petit, Lynn Dugas, and Hilary Fosdyck were some who attended opening night.
