Counter balance: Florida Bath and Surfaces expands to 25,000 square feet

Florida Bath and Surfaces Inc. is now offering the largest selections in the area of granite, marble, and quartz countertop services in the region.

In the area since 2002, Florida Bath recently added a new 5,000-square-foot slab gallery where its customers can come and easily view more than 100 colors of marble and granite finishes in an indoor setting.

The slab gallery joins a 3,000-square-foot showroom, which gives Florida Bath a total of 25,000-square-feet in which to show, design and fabricate countertops, shower enclosures and mirrors to order for projects as small as a single bathroom or as large as a 25-story condominium tower.

“Our focus is primarily premium countertops of granite, marble and quartz, so we are really proud of the addition of the 5,000-square-foot slab gallery,” said Florida Bath owner Bob Schoen.
Florida Bath also installs tile showers, tub decks as well as frameless glass shower enclosures and mirrors.

In addition, they are also a dealer for the popular outdoor cooker, the Big Green Egg.
In February of 2009, Florida Bath was chosen to participate and provide countertops for ABC’s “Extreme Makeover Home Edition” in Tallahassee.

Schoen closed his Atlanta law office in 2002 and moved with wife Jennifer to Santa Rosa Beach.

“This was a good business opportunity in a beautiful area. I love living here, the people, and all the outdoor activities the area has to offer,” he said.

Bob and Jennifer are now raising three daughters under the age of 5 in paradise.
