For second day in a row, Walton County opens two cold weather shelters

Due to the impending inclement weather, Walton County is again opening two cold weather shelters to accommodate those in need of respite from the predicted cold weather.

On Monday night, one person was brought to the shelter in South Walton. No one used the shelter in DeFuniak Springs.

The two shelters will be operating beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening and closing at 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.
