Vehicle, perpetrator sought in theft of fountain

 Crime Stoppers of Walton County, Inc. is currently looking for information on the following crime. Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest or recovery of stolen property. The information must be reported through the tip line to be eligible for the reward, and callers must remember the code number to claim the award.

The Walton County Sheriff's Office is looking the following vehicle in connection with a stolen concrete water fountain:

Mid 90's Chevrolet Silverado 1500 truck, medium blue color with a 6" to 8" black stripe running across the bottom, single cab with a toolbox in the bed.

On Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 4:00 a.m., a Silverado 1500 truck was seen at a newly constructed subdivision off East Hewitt Rd in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida in the location where a 6' concrete water fountain centerpiece (see photo ) and a pallet of brick pavers was stolen. The base of the fountain was left behind.

If you have any information on these fugitives, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-718-TIPS (8477) or the Walton County Sheriff's Office. Ask for Investigator Armstrong at (850)892-8186. Remember --  you do not have to give your name or appear in court and you could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
