Freeport's Biker Burger kick-starts a 'unique concept'

"It's a very unique concept," said Gutierrez, who came up with the idea for each of the inspired sandwiches.

On the menu is everything from the "Scooter" with a single beef patty and American cheese to the "Dirt Bike" with chorizo sausage on a beef patty topped with mozzarella, the "Jet Ski" made of salmon and mozzarella to the "Classic Bike," a 6 oz. Sirloin on a bun.

To satisfy the hungriest of motorcycle enthusiasts, the restaurant offers the "Trike" made of three hamburger patties, equaling about 1.5 pounds of beef. Finishing it, though, can pose a challenge.

"I've only had two or three customers finish it all," said Gutierrez, using two hands to describe its gargantuan height.

For the more exotic eaters, try the "Super Bike" or the "ATV Amphibious," made of bison meat and gator meat, respectively.

"We try to have a little bit for everybody," said Gutierrez.

And that include salads for the lighter eaters and Tool Box meals for kids, which offer brake pads (chicken nuggets), a scooter (a small burger) or spokes (cheese sticks).
