Freeport's Biker Burger kick-starts a 'unique concept'

Also offered are an assortment of fuels (Pepsi products and tea) or anti-freeze (coffee), tires (onion rings), ball bearings (battered mushrooms) and spark plugs (fries).

Within the next month, Biker Burger will also be starting to serve up milkshakes.

Gutierrez runs the business with the help of his wife, daughters, and mother.

The store's location is perfect for those bikers who often trek east to Panama City using Highway 20, which becomes a high-traffic motorcycle thoroughfare when the weather is right.

"We use this road a lot," said Gutierrez, who has been riding since the age of 8 when his dad bought him a Suzuki ATV.

He has since upgraded to a Yamaha Venture and instead of riding around the neighborhood, Gutierrez will take his bike "300 miles to go get a meal."

Now, ever since Biker Burger moved into the neighborhood, Freeport residents don't have to go nearly that far to get a tasty, satisfying meal.
