3 Graces Taverna owner Nora Bosnake and Chef Roger Babson.

Local business owners to give back to community, help family in need.

The 3 Graces Taverna is holding a Sunday Picnic Buffet March 14 at the Market Shops of Sandestin with proceeds benefiting Faye Boroughs and her family.

"We take care of our own in this community," said Nora Bosnake, owner of 3 Graces Taverna. "In a time of need you have to be here for people and that is what we are going to do."

Bosnake is working closely with Mike Blanchard's sister, Mimi Ramirez, and local businesses to make this event memorable.

Blanchard passed away in December after a gas explosion in the Destin home he shared with Boroughs, while Faye suffered burns to 40 percent of her body.

Bosnake said the goal is to help defray some of the families increasing medical expenses.

The 3 Graces Taverna will be catering the ticketed event. Tickets are $30, and children under 12 will eat for free.

Sandestin is donating the space for the event, RSVP Rentals has donated tables and chairs, Grayton Beach Fitness donated three one-month memberships for door prizes, and Emerald Coast Jewelry put up a strand of freshwater pearls for the silent auction. Local musicians Zoe Fronheiser, Brandon Day and Zack Rosicka will be providing entertainment for the benefit.

For more information about the Picnic Buffet contact The 3 Graces Taverna at 850-424-6004 or Mimi Blanchard Ramirez at 850-420-7810.
