HAPPY CAMPERS: Your guide to summer fun for kids in Walton County

See the "Amazing Adventures of the Marvelous Monkey King” at 6:30 p.m. June 26 in N. Barrett Square in Rosemary Beach. The event is free.

An original storytelling experience for children of all ages, audiences may help create Adventures In Alys at 10 a.m. Mondays and Thursdays through Aug. 8 at Fonville Press in Alys Beach.

Once Upon a Thyme takes place at 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays through Aug. 9 at South Barrett Square in Rosemary Beach.

Camp Glee

Emerald Coast Theatre Company will host Camp Glee from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 8-12 at Seaside Neighborhood School, 10 Smolian Circle in Santa Rosa Beach for children entering 5th through 9th grade. Campers will sing and dance as they learn songs and simple choreography to some of the musical numbers from the popular T.V. Show and play improvisation and theatre games. Day Camps

Dive into a week of water filled games, riddles, scavenger hunts and more during the Water World themed week camp for ages 7-13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 8-12 at Wee Care Park. Do science experiments with water, play water relay games, solve water riddles, and even do water-based crafts. Each team will compete for the title of “Water Master."
