HAPPY CAMPERS: Your guide to summer fun for kids in Walton County

Travel into history and search for hidden treasure from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 15-19 at Helen McCall Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Each team will compete for the top title of Gold Miner during scavenger hunts, games, and sports all.

Students are required to bring their lunch or they may purchase a lunch at the park for $5. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Only 50 students per camp. Visit http://www.waltonrec.com/summer-day-camp.html to register.

Volleyball/softball camp

Walton High School athletics volleyball and softball camps will be held July 16-18 for ages 8-13. Softball is 8:30-10 a.m. and volleyball is 10:30 a.m. to noon. Cost is $30 per camp.

Kids' Rock the Block

Bring the family for a free night of fun at the Kids’ Rock the Block party from 6-8 p.m. July 16 and Aug. 31 on the Western Green in Rosemary Beach. Moonwalks, face painting, airbrush tattoos, arts and crafts, hula hoops, bubble machine and more top the list of fun.
